London based comedian Lolly Adefope has been tipped as one of this year's most exciting debuts at the Edinburgh Fringe as she presents her stand-up show Lolly at the Pleasance Courtyard from August 8-31.

A character comedian who's worked alongside Edinburgh Comedy Award winners including Dr Brown, Daniel Simonsen and John Kearns, Adefope's act is sharp, hilarious and bizarre, featuring characters including first-time stand-up comedian Gemma and Brummie TV presenter Wendy Park. Adefope, a Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year 2015 nominee, will also be seen soon in a number of TV projects including Josh Widdicombe's Josh on BBC3 and Sky Arts' Rotters. Described by the Independent as a 'promising newcomer' and 'phenomenally impressive' by Gigglebeats, Adefope is a star in the making.
